Brief info
Robby was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. He and Vickie have been married for 46 years, and have two sons, Rob and Jim. Robby and Vickie are also proud grandparents. Rob and Amelia White have three sons, Taylor, Landon and Lucas. Jim and Laura White have two daughters, Ruby and Rosie.
Robby received his bachelor’s degree from Athens State University and a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1992 he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been pastor of Locust Grove since May of 1985. Robby is also an associate professor and Director of Religious Studies and Ethics at Athens State University.
Vickie is the owner of Two Friends, a local specialty gift shop and works with the Grove Cafe ministry at Locust Grove.
