Grove Girls is the Women’s Ministry at Locust Grove designed for women college age and up.
Grove Girls provides various Bible Studies, Book Clubs, Social Events and Ministry opportunities in our community and internationally throughout the year to help us grow, be equipped and stretch us so that we may better serve God and those around us.
New Bible Study Beginning Thursday, January 23rd at 9:30 AM
Judy Prestage will facilitate a study based on the book, Nehemiah: A Heart That Can Break by Kelly Minter. This is a 7-session Bible study for women. Nehemiah’s heart was so broken for those in need that he left the comfort of his Persian palace to help them. Like Kelly’s other studies in the “Living Room Series”, you’ll find authentic Bible teaching, recipes, and a relational approach.
The Grove Girls are offering a free Bible Journaling Workshop on Saturday, February 8th from 9-11 AM in the fellowship hall. Bible journaling is for those who are interested in digging deeper in God’s word in an artistic way. It is an alternative to traditional Bible study, as it allows you to engage with scripture in a more personal way and reflect on what you are reading. Bible journaling can be done with only a pen or can utilize many more art supplies. The workshop on Dec. 21 is available to those who have never Bible journaled before, as well as those who have been doing so for years. All are welcome!
