Locust Grove will celebrate its 150th anniversary on Sunday May 7th! Please join us as we remember our past heritage and celebrate the beginning of our next 150 years. We will not have Life Groups that day and will only have one worship service at 10:30 AM.
Tour guides will be ready at 9 AM to lead us through displays in the fellowship hall, rock chapel, and church office of items used during the past 150 years, reflections of times past, and present day ministries.
Many former staff and church members will be here so it will also be a family reunion complete with a potluck meal after the service. We’re expecting lots of visitors so please bring enough food for your family plus extra for guests. The deacons will supply chicken tenders so please bring other meats, side dishes and desserts to share.
If you are physically able, please park in the back to allow our guests room to park in the front parking lot. There will be greeters in the parking lot to assist with parking as needed.
We will have a congregational picture taken at the beginning of the service and a backdrop available on the steps of the rock chapel for you to take family pictures to remember this occasion.
